The renovation and addition of this 70's Pretoria office building was the brief of the client. The client, City of Tshwane's main aim was to re-appropriate the building and accommodate eight of their departments. A new facade skin was designed to improve natural light, sun control as well as the aesthetics. The courtyard of the building was formalised to create a pleasant space for the public as well as users of the building. A new southern block was designed to accommodate for services and vertical circulation.
